Acting as an advisor and sounding board for business owners and individuals brings Cauthen great joy because it allows him to help them accomplish their goals. Cauthen’s specialties in real estate and high net worth individuals give him and his clients a leg up when it comes to discussing complex tax topics.
Cauthen and his wife like to explore all that Greenville has to offer from checking out the breweries to taking their English Lab, Gus, to the swamp rabbit trail. Whenever possible, they also enjoy traveling to other parts of the United States and other countries. Avid sports fans, they cheer on the Cauthen’s alma mater, the South Carolina Gamecocks, and the West Virginia Mountaineers for college football and basketball. When it’s pro football season, they root for the Chicago Bears.
Cauthen's Story:
Cauthen has lived in the Midlands region of South Carolina most of his life. He grew up in Camden, attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, and a few years after graduation his search for a new city to call home landed him in Greenville. He worked for five years for a local accounting firm and got married in May of 2022. Looking to transition to a firm that could offer him work/life balance and a chance to continue to grow professionally, he joined BGC.
