Deanna enjoys working closely with mid-to-high networth individuals who have related businesses, trusts, sole proprietorships, or residential rental activity to help them achieve their tax planning and estate planning goals. She does this by collaborating with clients to identify opportunities to save tax dollars by maximizing future social security benefits, deductible retirement plan funding; charitable giving while maximizing current tax deductions.
Deanna and her husband fostered five kittens from different litters, and then adopted them! This brought their total kitty count to seven. “They were too cute to part with,” she explains. Deanna's Story:
Deanna was born and raised in Greer, SC. She still resides in the area to remain close to family and life-long friends. She obtained her undergraduate degree from USC Upstate and then attended Clemson University’s Master’s of Accounting Program. Deanna began her career in public accounting at a small firm located in Greenville, SC that specializes in high net worth families. She expanded her tax knowledge when she had the opportunity to move to a larger firm. After more than five years at the larger firm, she sought to rebalance her priorities and joined the BGC team in August 2022 as a tax manager.
