Cindy is a manager of Client Accounting Services (CAS) at the firm. She reviews and prepares financial statements and payroll returns; the larger and more complicated the better, she’d say. She feels accounting is like a jigsaw puzzle which she also loves doing. Seeing a task through to completion is important to Cindy, which is one reason many of her clients have stayed with her for decades.
Cindy and her husband of four decades have a daughter and two young grandsons. Both husband and daughter are graduates from Clemson which makes Cindy a big Clemson Fan. Their favorite activities take them outdoors for gardening, fishing, and cheering on Clemson. Their favorite vacations together are mostly spent at the beach and lakes.
Cindy's Story:
She grew up and still lives at the old home place in the southern part of Greenville County. She loves living in the country where her and husband have farm animals, pets and plenty of space. She has been with BGC since 1987 and considers them as her family. She has progressed professionally from keypunch operator to bookkeeper to manager. Her main reason for the longevity with the firm is BGC’s work/life balance they strongly believe in and all the great people she has met over the years.
